At the Villager Motel, it’s our opinion that the best way to enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park is to get out and go! Our breakfast fuels you up for your adventure, with a few extra snacks for the road. We host this complimentary breakfast inside our pool house with outdoor seating available on those gorgeous, sunny days in Bar Harbor.
We’re proud to be one of the few downtown Bar Harbor hotels with a pool, open from late May through mid-October for guests to cool off, float, and splash in. Enjoy an invigorating early morning dip before venturing off property or unwind after a day touring all the hot spots of Acadia National Park. Our pool deck has plenty of lounge chairs for you to kick back and read a book, suntan, or watch your kids play. The pool is fully fenced and gated to keep our younger guests safe but please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
It’s true, we can’t say enough good things about staying in the center of downtown Bar Harbor! Ditch your car and explore our quaint, coastal town on foot. All the best attractions are within half a mile, including the Village Green, Agamont Park, the waterfront, and some of the best local shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. We don’t like to play favorites, but the proximity of Choco-Latte for a morning beverage, or Blaze for wood-fired pizza in the evening makes them go-to choices. You can’t go wrong wandering downtown and letting your heart (and nose) decide where to go!
