Our vacation enhancements are a wonderful way to enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Guests of the Villager enjoy special partner pricing (displayed below) on the meals and activities listed below. In addition to your lodging and Morning Snack Bar each day at the Villager, you can add any of the options below to your room reservation to create your own custom-built package! These options are easily added to your reservation through our online booking system or over the phone.
Please note that we would be happy to reserve your activity for you upon your arrival, as the activity companies will not accept reservations until you have arrived in Bar Harbor.
$25 per person (Retail value = $30 per person)* The Acadia National Park Tour offers 2 ½ – 3 hours of Acadia’s best sights and historical information about the area on an air-conditioned bus. Stops include the top of Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole, and the Wild Gardens of Acadia. The Acadia National Park Touroffers 2 tours per day at 10 AM and 2 PM. *Available from May 11th – October 31st.
$22 per person including tax and gratuity Enjoy breakfast in the Bar Harbor Inn’s historic Reading Room Restaurant overlooking beautiful Frenchman Bay. Each person may choose the following off the menu: 1 entree and 1 non-alcoholic beverage. Additional sides or entrees not included.
$64 per person including tax & gratuity Enjoy dinner at the Bar Harbor Inn’s historic Reading Room Restaurantoverlooking beautiful Frenchman Bay. Each person may choose any of the following off of the menu: 1 soup/salad, 1 entrée, 1 dessert, and 1 non-alcoholic beverage. Appetizers and alcoholic beverages are not included. $30 per person (Retail value = $42 per person)* Join Downeast Windjammers for a sail among the islands of Frenchman Bay aboard one of their historic schooner sailing vessels. The harbor cruise is approximately 2 hours long, and meanders around the Porcupine Islands, providing beautiful scenery and incomparable views of Mount Desert Island from the water. This relaxing cruise offers 3 sails per day at 10 AM, 2 PM, and sunset, weather permitting. *Available from late May to mid October.
$23 per person (Retail value = $30 per person)* Join the crew of the Acadian Nature Cruise for a two hour, fully narrated cruise of Frenchman Bay & enjoy the breathtaking scenery of coastal Maine, Acadia National Park, the islands of Frenchman Bay, and the shoreline of Bar Harbor. Nature cruises leave daily from the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel in search of eagles, porpoises, seals, & other interesting marine mammals and birds. Also featured are views of timeless mansions, Egg Rock lighthouse, & occasionally migrating birds that have ventured into Frenchman Bay. Tours depart daily at 10 AM and 1 PM, weather permitting. *Available from May 11th – October 31st.
$49 per person including tax & gratuity Enjoy a traditional Downeast Maine Lobster Bake outdoors on the Terrace Grille at the Bar Harbor Inn overlooking beautiful Frenchman Bay. The Lobster Bake fixed menu is as follows: a 1 ¼ lb whole Maine lobster*, steamers, homemade New England clam chowder, fresh corn on the cob, steamed baby red potatoes, fresh baked bread/rolls, and wild Maine blueberry pie for dessert. *Lobster may be substituted with steak or chicken. Available for lunch or dinner. Seating is first come, first serve – reservations are not accepted.
